To enable Slingshot in your E-goi account:
Click the "Apps
" menu to be taken to the integrations page.
Hit the red button right next to "Slingshot
" to activate it.
Done! Once Slingshot is enabled and ready to go, just ask your site's developers to have a gander at Slingshot's documentation
so they can connect to E-goi's SMTP or API and start sending messages.
How flexible can my developers be while connecting to Slingshot?
A whole lot! Given that Slingshot simply acts as your message's turbocharged engine, everything around it can be built to your liking. Just be sure to add the senders
you'll be using for your messages and let your developers handle the rest (content, attachments, when and whom to send to, etc.). Our docs
should get them sorted out in no time.
How much does each transactional email or SMS cost?
Check out our per-message pricing (see "Transactional email/SMS"). Transactional is usually pay-as-you-go.
Nevertheless, if you've got one of these plans, you have some transactional messages available per month.
Do I get reports for my transactional sends?
You bet! Find them under "Transactional
" in your E-goi account's "Reports
How do I set up an E-goi CNAME for my transactional emails?
A CNAME record is key to increase your email deliverability. Head over to your "Reports
" menu, choose "Transactional
", hit the "CNAME
" tab and then click "Create CNAME
". Enter the CNAME you'd like to use (eg. transactional.example.com), click "Add CNAME
" and set it up using the info we provide.
I haven't got a clue about how to add this CNAME thingie. Please help!
