Creating an E-goi Ads campaign

In addition to all the cool ways E-goi allows you to do lead and customer nurturing, you can also bring in all-new prospects by running online ads! Yep, that's true - same as Google Ads, Gmail Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads (it's actually the same engine but without the clutter :-))

E-goi Ads helps you easily reach leads outside your contact list, all straight from E-goi. A couple of steps is all that's needed to promote your email campaign to people googling for anything similar to what you've included in the email.


How to create an ad?

Your E-goi Ad can either promote a URL (the obvious choice would be your site address or a link to an item in your online store) or boost an email campaign you've created in E-goi.

Let's break it down for you:


Step 1: Choosing what to promote

Promoting a URL | Sign-up Form | Products from your Ecommerce | Dynamic Products 

To run an ad featuring a specific webpage or a sign-up form, let's put together a standalone E-goi Ads campaign. Just head over to the Campaigns menu and click Create. A window will come up asking you which type of campaign to create. Choose Ads and pick your advertising goal (Sell online if you're showcasing a product; Reach new people if, for example, you're announcing an event; Increase traffic to my site if... well, self-explanatory really ;-) ). Then click Next and enter the URL or the Form to promote.

To promote products from your ecommerce you should create a Catalog before creating your ad. Then you can follow the steps shown above and select this option in the end.

Once you create your product catalog, you'll be able to promote dynamic products as well. These are the products that have been visited by your customers while browsing your site.
To do so, create a remarketing campaig.

Promoting an email created in E-goi

Even if you've already sent an email using E-goi, you can boost its content to a wider audience. Just head over to the Campaigns menu and click Create. A window will come up asking you which type of campaign to create. Choose Ads and pick your advertising goal (Sell online if you sent a sales email; Reach new people if you were announcing an event; Increase traffic to my site if you were promoting your website). Then click Next and choose the email you sent.

If you haven't sent any email yet, you can create it right there and then! Be sure it's a one-time email (broadcast). Once you get to the pre-send checklist page, tick each check as usual, scroll all the way to the bottom and click I want to boost my campaign.



Step 2: Edit your ad

Wow, how cool is that? E-goi has just pre-filled your ad off what you want to promote!

If you're promoting an email, E-goi will do something similar as well. The email's sender will go under Company, the Ad title will be pulled from the email's subject and the actual Ad text will include your email's snippet. Feel free to change anything you want here to make your ad as engaging as possible. Keep in mind people clicking the ad will be taken to your email campaign's web version! This means an email-based ad is essentially a way to showcase your email to extra prospects.

In both cases (URL ad and email ad), the preview on the right hand-side will show you how your ad will look like over the web and the social media feeds :-)


If you want to show your ad on social media as well, you should link your Facebook profile and then, select your company's page.
This way, your ad will also be seen by people with a similar profile to your followers!
Later on, if you prefer to link the ad to another Facebook page, just integrate E-goi with a different profile following this step-by-step.


Step 3: Set your audience and budget

Choose among 3 types of audience:

- Based on your contacts:
In this case, the ad will be displayed by the advertising networks to people who may be interested in what you're promoting. This is all automatic, leveraging our AI and machine learning tech with the networks' algorithms to set a target audience based on your content's keywords, sender, links, your contact list stats and your followers profile (if you promote the ad on social media).
The goal is always bringing in new people for your business!

- People who visited your website:
A super-qualified targeted audience that has already shown interest in your business ;)
In this case you should follow the workflow of a remarketing campaign.

- Custom audience:
Who will customise the audience? You... only you! :)


After defining your audience, choose how long your campaign will run and how much money you want to spend on your ad. The amount will be taken from the available funds in your E-goi account balance. How much is good enough? Well, the higher your budget, the more people the ad will reach.


Step 4: Confirm your ad

Almost there! :-)
Take a close look at your ad copy and budget settings before going live.
Once you confirm this step, the ad will be submitted to the advertising networks for approval (may take up to 1 day for them to clear it). We'll email you with the go/no-go when we get it. As soon as your ad is approved, it'll run until the date you've set (or for 7 days straight if you're promoting a send-ready email).



How much will my ad cost?

The amount you pay is only what you've set as your ad budget.
The ad networks themselves will handle this and ensure you'll never spend more than the budget you chose. If the full amount isn't spent, we'll refund the remainder back to your account balance.


Where do I see the results of my E-goi Ads campaign?

If you're advertising a URL, go to the Campaigns menu, choose View all and hit the Report button of the ads campaign you launched. In case you boosted an email, just open the report of the email campaign which has been paired to the E-goi Ads campaign. To do so, head over to the Reports menu, choose View all and click the Report button of the email campaign you sent out. Inside the report you should see a View Ads report button taking you to the current results of your E-goi Ads campaign.
