What should I do if an ISP blocks the emails I send using E-goi?

If all your contacts in a specific ISP suddenly stop receiving mailings from you altogether (ie. the emails you send them won't land anywhere, including their inbox and spam folders), it's quite likely the ISP has blocked your emails :(

ISPs can crack down on your sends for a number of reasons, especially if you haven't followed our deliverability guide.

To try to fix this as quickly as possible, do the following:

1) Get in touch with our technical support (use the "Help" menu in your E-goi account). We'll look into what caused your mailings to be blocked.

2) If you've been locked out by a major ISP (Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook.com, Yahoo, AOL, Comcast, etc.), our deliverability team will talk to them and get back to you with advice. But if the blocking came from a smaller, local ISP, you should ask them to unblock your mailings. Simply use the template below:

Hello,

I use an email marketing service (E-goi) to keep in touch with my customers. E-goi has a strict anti-spam policy and I can assure you they are not a spam relay. However, your filters have been blocking the emails I send using E-goi.

Can you tell me why this is happening and what can I do to resolve it?

3) Similarly, if a customer, subscriber or contact using that ISP tells you they're not receiving your emails, the most effective course of action is having them ask the ISP to unblock your mailings. Just provide them with the template below (replace XXXX with your company or brand name):

Hello,

I'm no longer receiving emails from XXXX in my inbox. They use an email marketing service (E-goi), which has a strict anti-spam policy and is not a spam relay.

However, the emails they send using E-goi have been blocked by your filters. These mailings are important to me and I'd like to receive them in this email address. Could you please get in touch with E-goi to fix this? If there's anything I can do for those emails to land in my inbox, just let me know.

That's all there is to it. Keep in mind that ISP blockings may take a while to resolve (they can't be undone overnight). Still, by following the steps above, you'll be ensuring the whole process is as quick as possible.
